Breathwork and Psychology

Breath is the essence of life and drawing from both ancient practices and modern science, breathing can be harnessed as the most powerful tool you will ever have access to. Functional breathing helps to train the body to breath like we were designed to. Making changes to how we breathe can help reduce symptoms commonly associated with anxiety and low mood, as well as reducing stress. Breathing can also be used to access pathways for emotional journeys that take you to states of natural healing and magical journeys. Psychology can offer wise insights to the workings of the body as it pertains to thoughts, emotions and behaviours. The interplay between these functions and breathing is highlighted throughout this work. Discovering not only breathing techniques, but the whys behind these will help to take your understanding to the next level. ​

 

I have been trained in a variety of breathing techniques and understands the importance of calming the nervous system to regain homeostasis.  I can guide you in learning to ease your anxiety and other mood dysregulations.  I can also assist you in a journey inwards to find connection, calmness, and the magic to create.

 

Most of us can use ways to slow down and be still even when busyness is our usual antidote.  Some of us are looking to explore the power within ourselves.
